I began my employment at Network Drafting Services Pty Ltd at the beginning of 2005 as a 3D structural steel detailer using Strucad.

My previous experience with Autocad and Archicad have given me a firm knowledge base and played a vital part in dealing with the 3D CAD that we utilise.

I am also a fully qualified Brick layer and have worked in the construction industry for over 10 years. Giving me on hand experience in all aspects of the construction industry so I understand the conditions, tight schedules and the necessity of the high level of service that we provide.

StruCad provides a new challenge with every job and it's great to be part of a team with such a broad range of experience to call upon. It feels good when we amaze our clients with all the extra information we can provide.

In the early stages of ‘ Network Drafting Services Pty Ltd', ‘Auto Cad' was the prime software combined with traditional hand drawing. After a short time drafting, we realised that they're must be a superior method to detailing steel. The traditional way of detailing has too much room for error, and entails tedious work. ‘NDS Pty Ltd' researched several products on the market and decided ‘StruCad' was the best development tool needed to improve the business. As it turns out ‘StruCad' was very successful in for filling our requirements and allowing us to provide professional drawings to our clients. After years of intense training with the software we developed a specific system to completing any job. This system ensures that ‘Network Drafting Services Pty Ltd' produces a professional world class result. My role within ‘Network Drafting Services Pty Ltd' is to oversee all other jobs and there progress with the help of the two Project Managers Ron and Michael. With 15 years of boiler making experience, I know what the workshop employees want from workshop drawings. Email Yannick Berthelot +61 7 55 788 736	I.T. Development Supervisor My position at 'Network Drafting Services Pty Ltd.' Is to develop and manage the hardware and software systems we use here. Incorporating all the information we receive into our system is vital in ensuring we produce a highly accurate product. I understand software operations, programming and have built several high end computers, so learning a new software package was a welcome challenge. StruCad is definitely a challenging software package to learn. The amount of features StruCad offers can be overwhelming as there are hundreds of ways to accomplish the same task. Part of my position here at 'NDS Pty Ltd' is developing new strategies and guidelines to improve and maintain the advanced level of detailing required in this high end industry. At 'Network Drafting Services Pty Ltd.' We put great pride in not only the drawings we provide but also the service. It keeps people coming back time and again when they see the jobs just bolt up on site. Previously I worked in the construction industry on site for 2 years, and know the importance of preparation, planning and site conditions. Using the 3D walkthrough we provide, the riggers can see exactly how a job needs to be erected, right down to which side the purlins go. Understanding drawings and knowing how the industry works outside the office is a necessity in drafting and dealing with our clients.
